Joe is responsible for the airline’s information technology strategy and its vital role in enhancing the Customer experience. Prior to joining JetBlue, Joe was an executive in the financial services industry. He was president and chief executive officer of Spectrum Systems, a provider of IT solutions and services to the private and public sectors. As the chief information officer of SWIFT, he was recognized with a CIO 100 in 2005 for bold leadership and 2006 for innovation. He led product development, technology, and global operations for the world-wide mission critical financial messaging services provider. In addition, he has held leadership positions in the telecommunications industry with Ameritech, now part of AT&T, and Bellcore, renamed Telcordia Technologies.He earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University in New Jersey and his graduate degree in Computer Science from New York University.
