Good times /bad times: stay clear on the basics.

If knowledge is power, today’s Chief Information Technology Officers are more important than ever.

CIOs (Chief Information Officers) and CTOs (Chief Technology Officers) have access to more information, from all stages of the business – and technology is a key strategic advantage, making CIO insight indispensable today. A common understanding has emerged between Chief Technology Officers and businesses and with it a new language (or rather, an old language, liberated of acronym and codec).

Technology leadership is no longer just about keeping the lights on and cutting costs: the best also have a strong, proactive and easily communicated information strategy.

This is not just something that you hire for: CIO education will teach you to build-in a strong organizational dynamic and your team’s compass in decision-making, its compass in organizational design and issue resolution, is guided by it.
